Loving the loved: Part 3( A girl with a broken smile)

  (read Part 1 & 2)
Previuosly,

Ntombi had only hoped till they meet again, destiny had whispered his soulful name to her ear, but he was nowhere to be found. The night sky was the deepest blue, stars by their thousands gave their brightest glow yet his presence was nowhere to be felt. The blinding days had flown by in glimpses and he was not in it.

The burning flame in her heart, overshadowed by the tiredness to wait, she had hoped for days on end for the flames to be ignited again, it was no point fooling herself she soon realised that the chapter was closing. She should have known but  not the heart in her, She wanted to walk away but the heart in her refused and though she wanted to blame it all on him she realised it was not him but the heart in her that betrayed her, made her feel things she was not suppose to

Ntombi tried several times to brush off the thought that she was leaving, she tried finding ways of telling him she was leaving the country, she was closing that chapter because there was no reason in staying, all that he once said did not mean anything anymore since he had disappeared without a trace and she had believed for so long on giving things time to work themselves out, but the t-shirt was starting to wear out it could no longer be used even as a floor rag. He was not coming to the party and she was leaving in less than a week to another country perhaps would or would never come back, yet still thought it would be best to elimminate the element of surprise and at least have a decency to let him know she was relocating in a week's time, in any case she wished he knows that at some point she before thought she had known love, witnessed it's grace, she thought she had seen it all till she gazed upon his face. She wished for heavens to help her explain that she was not running away this she had to do for herself and in her heart there would always and forever be that special place where only he belongs
