"It is neither heritage nor society that moulds a character of an individual"
Times have changed, things are way too different than how they used to be and change is good. We live in a society where people compete with the castles they've constructed and yes it by the strength of their on hands, well most of them, and they always say it's not bragging if you can back it up and i agree but how far will one go just to prove a point?
Our parents grew and lived under the oppression of the apartheid era, and it was not only rare but a taboo for a black man to have or accumulate a number of assets. Thanks to the new democratic South Africa all races have equal rights and can now enjoy the same benefits which is a good thing, yet it so unfortunate that some ethnic groups tend to abuse those rights and it is allowed i mean they have the right to have the right to do so. Oh my word that sounds so weird anyway my point is agreed we have equal rights and are an improving Nation though it's still baby steps I still think we need to be schooled yet, we need to be educated in order to reach that equivalent level of other countries it is inadequate to have a fat bank balance if you cannot use your funds appropriately.
Our black community needs to be taught of important things to name a few like Investments, Savings, Forex Trading etc. Once a black man has money all they think of is flashy cars, boose, girls and i am not saying that is wrong all i am saying is there's more to life than fun times and there's certainly an age for all of that you can't be in your late 40's still rocking in a golf 6, bmw series such needs to be left to the kids, the younger generation that is. It all boils down to celebrities who live a life of class get sick and be hospitalized and then the public has to donate for them because there's not enough money to keep them at the hospital some die and have to be donated to be buried i mean REALLY NOW?
I was lost once
and drove to the nearest township as i was driving to find the nearest garage
all i was passing was these double story shacks with cars like Golf 6, BMW X5,
Jaguars, Range Rovers parked outside out of interest i asked at the garage
about this interesting sight and they were like "oh no the owners live
probably where you saw the cars, hey sister you should see other houses (shacks)as well”
To me that sounded totally wrong if you can afford that much for your car why
not find a good place to stay and then buy a cheaper car? I can never understand
the logic behind people’s actions , then again I ask is it heredity or society that moulds a character of one?
The big question is who are you trying to impress whether you live at a decent place or not, why not use your accrues not only for today but to build a better future for your children and a generations to follow, we need more than anything to think out of the box then we will have a better South Africa this goes as far as to include our Leaders as well, theres more to life than now and i stand to be corrected and this might sound racist but black people re#just saying
